Lady Of The Hill Tapestry Weaving

Inspired by the hills of Axarquía where I live, this textured hand woven wall hanging is something the eye can walk through time and time again.

It has been made using a combination of different fibres and shades of green to create a varied and multi- textured look and feel, just like the hills and fields. This tapestry hangs from a gorgeous, swirling piece of wood that has been collected and treated for durability. It itself is a piece of art.

A completely intuitive and unqiue design, from the driftwood hanger to the pattern and shape.

Width:  42cm (including wood),  16.5 in

Materials: organic roving wool, recycled T-shirt yarn, acyrlic yarn, recycled cotton rope, alpacha yarn. It hangs from a piece of driftwood which has been cleaned and varnished.
